Have you ever gone out for shopping with girls? I am talking to men. You will realize how long you have to walk and how long you have to stand in one single shop to buy a thing. But I’m not like that – meaning, I don’t take long to buy something I like. The moment the attraction strikes, I have it in my hand before the mind alters. So…yes, it is lot simpler. I have not regretted this habit of mine so far. We were six girls on a shopping spree in Green Hills ( Philippines ). I didn’t have anything in my mind to buy. But many wanted to buy corals and pearls. I was with them anyway and when I had bought some eight gifts, they had not bought one single coral. So I later sat near an escalator…that was the only place I could sit; every little space was a shop. So I waited. And I waited. I think I finally had them at my heels. Finally when we were to have lunch, it was a dejected experience of not getting vegetarian food. But despite that, I think I put on weight. And the next...

We planned a picnic last year and never happened. One thing or another always kept missing and it just couldn’t fall into place. But this time, we really meant to make it and make it we did. We gathered at office at 10:30am on 26 th April. I thought L and I would be the first ones but there were people who were more excited than we were. Already most of them were waiting. When we divided the group to go into different cars, we were with a different group. But in the last minute, we found we had to adjust. So we jumped in with Sangay Thinley. He started driving only a week back and my thought the day we discussed about picnic was not to go in his car. But so much for my fear when it manifested – jumped in his car and we sped before others did. So much laughter filled the car and we were a little jumpy. I guess our hearts couldn’t just rest peacefully in their case. We stopped a while at Hongtsho and bought Singara and Appy. Then we had no time to look back. We were at Dochula...

Sometimes, nothing exists in your world. There is no distraction whatsoever. And at such moments, you are what you are and there isn’t any trick.

Almost every weekend, we have a dinner together at one of our houses. This is a picture taken after a sumptuous dinner at meritocean’s house. He stays in Changjiji…he had to shift on some urgent note and he is going to be there for just 3 months again. I’m sure he is on the hunt for a house again. We decided to have the cleaning campaign in Changjiji area on 25th August, 2007, Saturday. We have expected to have at least 30 volunteers.
